I've watched this blog grow and take on a life of its own and recently have reflected on the correlation between Father's Day and being an internet entrepreneur and blogger. If your great blog is new, or if you have been blogging for sometime, whether you realize or not, you have a child and qualify as a Father (if you're female well, Mother's Day was last month). If you're considering a blog and plan to make it great, you're an expectant father. While it's not quite as important as raising a human, you have a "being" that is totally dependent on you. Unless you're in the small minority that has a staff to help keep the blog operating, your blog depends upon you for it's existence. You need to keep after it regularly, "feed" it, care for it and nurture it. Otherwise, it's gone! As we've discussed before, if you want your blog to be successful, you can't walk away from it for months, and re-appear later expecting it to be well. You need to educate yourself, so your blog will benefit. It's hard, but worthy work that will give you much joy, so appreciate it and learn with it.
And, btw, happy Father's Day to those of you with human babies too! And, call/visit your own dad if you can!
Keep going, and Blog to Great!
