BLOG TIPS - The new BloggersBase is an online magazine and community, that gives everyone an equal and fair chance to be a contributing and influencing member. Great for bloggers, BB members can immediately be a blogger, contribute as a photographer, or publish videos. Or, if you are an avid reader, you can make your opinion known and influence the content of their magazine, effectively becoming an editor. BloggersBase goal is to help its users to become professionals! BloggersBase also tries to the best of its capabilities to award highly talented members special prizes (money $$$) for their efforts and contribution.
They welcome every blogger, writer, journalist, photographer, videographer and artist to contribute to your favorite topic in their online magazine. It's citizen journalism meets blog networking. You don't have to worry about anything but providing quality posts. They''ll make sure your content appears next to challenging peers to match your level and they take care exposing you to a large audience. Simply pick a topic you want to express yourself in and add a post which will contend for entering the main blog (such a post is called a Nugget). Your posts will be ranked by their influential readers, and at the end of the next Timeslot, the creator of the best Nugget (contender post) will be promoted to co-author the main blog. This also means that co-authors of the main blog who ranked the lowest in the preceding Timeslot, will have to compete for a place once again in the next Timeslot, by creating a new Nugget. Your rank is a measurement, that takes into account numerous factors such as: the amount of posts you contributed, their score, the amount of conversation the post generated, etc. The available ranks follow, in increasing order:
Newbie, Scribe , Penman , Composer , Essayist , Columnist , Author , Wordsmith , Scholar
They don't require exclusivity but instead encourages you to publish all your posts on your own personal blog as well. They'll also gladly link your profile and posts to your sites of choice.
To participate in the BloggerBase voting system, you just signup for a free account at the BloggersBase site. It's easy to do, and requires only your email, name and password, a very easy setup! Give them a try and let us know what you think.

BloggersBase is interesting but I am not quite sure how it will catch on. I personally like it so far, it is different in the way you are rewarded for both reading content and publishing.
